Серия московского издательства «Мир». Поначалу на книгах не ставилось название серии, так как задумывались лишь несколько сборников зарубежной фантастики, продолжающих друг друга. Первым был «Экспедиция на Землю», вторым – «Туннель под миром». Они представляли собой двухтомник англо-американской фантастики. Не случайно предисловие к первому сборнику охватывало произведения обоих книг. Но затем было решено продолжить серию, которая растянулась на более чем тридцать лет.
